Leslie Tamaribuchi is the Associate Dean and Co-Producer of the School of Theater at California Institute of the Arts where she teaches in the Producing Program. As the managing director of Cornerstone Theater Company from 1995 to 2001, Leslie produced dozens of community-engaged and site-specific new theater works. She worked with the Cambridge Multicultural Arts Center and the New Opera Theater Ensemble in Massachusetts, and studied in Japan at Kyoto University where she collaborated with and learned from shogekijo and butoh practitioners. A founding board member of the Watts Village Theater Company, Leslie has served as a panelist for the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, National Endowment for the Arts, Theatre Communications Group, the California Arts Council, Los Angeles County Arts Commission and the City of Los Angeles Cultural Affairs Department. Leslie earned a masters degree in public administration from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
